GENERAL QUESTIONS
What does ReviewMatch really do?
No secrets here. We connect business owners with our pre-screened U.S. based reviewers who provide detailed feedback to the business owner.
BUSINESS OWNER QUESTIONS
Does “pre-screened” mean the business owner is guaranteed positive feedback?
No. Not at all. Why would a business owner want that anyway? Imagine that ReviewMatch is replacing what used to be known as a mystery shopper or caller. Business owners need honest feedback to know what is working and what isn’t in their organization. However, the goal is for your business to receive positive feedback either in the first evaluation, or a subsequent evaluation. Once positive feedback is received, you can then request the online review!
With Review-Match, am I buying a review?
No. And we want to make this very clear. ReviewMatch does not condone or promote buying reviews. Instead, you are getting feedback about your organization which you may then request to be posted online.
What is the turn around time for feedback?
Once you contact ReviewMatch, you will receive a confirmation email and then a list of potential reviewers. If you have chosen to contact your reviewers directly then you can do so immediately. It is the goal of ReviewMatch for the reviewer to be able to provide feedback within one week of assignment.
Can I see a review before it is posted?
You can make that request of the reviewer, but that is between you and the reviewer. Because you are not paying for the review (i.e., you are paying for the feedback), that would not be part of ReviewMatch. You will receive feedback from the reviewer and then decide whether to request the reviewer to post it on a review site.
What if I don’t have the time or don’t want to reach out to reviewers? Does ReviewMatch have a service to do this for our company?
Yes! Just let us know what aspects of your business you would like feedback on and we will reach out to our reviewer pool and arrange for the feedback to be authentically provided. One of our Match Makers will reach out to you directly to coordinate.
What does ReviewMatch recommend for getting rid of bad Yelp reviews?
ReviewMatch offers services whereby we will evaluate and flag any Yelp reviews that violate the guidelines. Contact our office for more details.
How fast should I get new online reviews for my business?
We recommend as a “best practice” that you roll out new reviews over time in a natural manner. For example, if you business has a total of 15 reviews, then don’t add 10 new ones in one day!
As a business owner, what will my confirming email say?
As a business owner, what will my invoice email say?
As a business owner, what will the email containing my Reviewers look like?
- Contact the Reviewer(s) and forward the description of exactly the type of feedback you would like to receive.
- Once you receive the feedback, make payment via PayPal to the Reviewer(s).
- If you are happy with the feedback, request that the Reviewer(s) leave you a formal online review on the platform of your choice.
REVIEWER QUESTIONS
Why become a Review-Match reviewer?
If you’re someone who likes to be asked your opinion, likes to voice your opinion and get the added benefit of being compensated for it then becoming a ReviewMatch reviewer is for you! Another great reason? You get to earn great money, and get lots of cool stuff.
What if my experience is terrible but the business owner is pushing back?
“Thems the breaks, folks!” Your feedback must be honest, real and true. The business owner could offer you a second chance to interact with his/her business if he/she wishes and see if anything changes but that is up to you and the business owner. And, you would have to be compensated twice. Of course, the business may fix its problems, and then ask you to post your opinion online.
Do I need a college degree to become a ReviewMatch reviewer?
No. You simply need to be a consumer who can express his/her experience. Having a robust reviewer profile will help you get more gigs.
